Who can process my data and where is it stored?
We follow good data protection practices when processing customer data and access to the data is controlled. As of 25 May 2018, the requirements of the EU Data Protection Regulation have been taken into account in our operations and these requirements are complied with in our operations.
The customer register information is stored in a system to which access requires a user name and password. The system is also protected by firewalls and other technical means. Only certain, pre-defined and trained Sisu Outdoor employees have access to and are entitled to use the information contained in the register stored in the system. The information contained in the register is located in locked and guarded premises.

In some cases, we need to transfer information to third parties, such as for storage, analytics or marketing. There are strict agreements with all our partners, which take into account the requirements of legislation and the EU Data Protection Regulation. Under no circumstances do our partners have permission to use the information for their own purposes or to share the information.

How long do we keep the data?
We will retain the information for the time necessary to comply with this statement. Personal data from customer accounts that are not active will be deleted no later than five years after the last activity. The customer always has the right to see their own data and request the deletion of their data. You can send us requests for corrections, deletions, or other requests or questions related to your customer information to

Correcting information
The controller shall correct, delete or supplement personal data in the register that is incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete or out of date for the purpose of processing on its own initiative or at the request of the customer. Does my information end up with third parties?
Only in mandatory cases, ie to enable, for example, payment transactions, deliveries or marketing. The payment transactions in the booking calendar are provided by Wix payments, Paypal and in connection with the payment transaction the payment information passes through Wix Payments and Paypal. 

Paytrail collects the IP address, payment method and time of payment in connection with the payment transaction.


You can pay when booking with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard and American Express. The international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey authentication services are used in the booking calendar. Wix payments as the payee by card invoice and forwards the payment card payment paid by the customer directly to the merchant. Card payments are made securely with a secure payment form and payment card information is not stored in e-commerce systems.


Personal information and spam policy

We treat all personal information you provide on with the utmost care. We collect and store data in accordance with the Personal Data Act, SFS 1998: 204. The law is based on common EU regulations.

Personal data is protected from external intrusion.
As a customer, you have the right to request a copy of the registered information.
As a customer, you have the right to request a change in the registered information.
As a customer, you have the right to request the deletion of registered data.
Sisu Outdoor does not send spam. As a customer, you can receive emails from us regarding your order, payment or other conversation you have started, as well as information, newsletters or offers within the framework of our customer relationship. We do not send emails from third parties or in connection with products or services that are not directly related to our operations. You can easily unsubscribe from automatically sent messages using the link in the email (link at the end of a newsletter, for example). You can do this without logging in to our site.

We undertake not to disclose or sell personal information collected from our customers. We only collect the information we need to process your order and the information is only used by Sisu Outdoor and the partners we use to complete the transaction. Examples of partners are payment service providers, credit companies and banks.
